Version 4.34.2 Release Notes
Release Date: 5/16/2025
Version: 4.34.2
HIP and HOTMA Delay Notice:
On September 18, 2024, HUD announced that the income and asset provisions of the HOTMA Section 102 and 104 Final Rule that require the new HUD-50058 form will not be required effective January 1, 2025. This delay is due to the Housing Information Portal (HIP) not yet being released. This version of WT2+ contains functionality that will be used in the future integration of transitioning your agency to HIP and capturing HOTMA changes.
For more information, please visit the PIH HOTMA Implementation FAQs for PHAs: PIH%20HOTMA%20Implementation%20FAQ%209.13.2024.pdf.
Tax Credit and Rural Development HOTMA calculations are now available:
WT2+ now supports both pre-HOTMA and HOTMA-compliant Tax Credit and Rural Development certification calculations.
Job Aids:
The following HOTMA features are now available with this release for the Tax Credit program type in WT2+:
- Inflationary Adjustments: Asset passbook rate, and imputed asset threshold will now pull from Project Policy.
- New imputed assets calculation: Income from assets will calculate following the HOTMA asset calculation rule.
- New HOTMA-compliant Spectrum TIC form has been added to WT2+. If your agency uses a state-specific HOTMA-compliant TIC form, please contact MRI Tenmast customer support.
Project Policy screen enhancements:
- The Project Policy screen has been enhanced to allow users to enable HOTMA calculations by program type. Additionally, policy settings that need to be annually updated for inflationary adjustments are now grouped together on the screen. To learn more about changes to the Project Policy screen, download the documentation by clicking here.
Compliance Update:
- The 2025 County Level Data for Fair Market Rents, effective April 27, 2025, have been added.
Bug Fixes and Improvements:
- Tenant Accounts Receivable (TAR):
When a tenant changes subsidies, but lives in the same unit with a new development on the unit, new TAR accounts are created. If this happens and the certification dates are in the future, there is a possibility that a lockbox (EPF) payment could apply to the future TAR account and not the current TAR account. Changes have been made to prevent this from happening. (IR-124808)
- Occupancy and Rent Calculation (ORC):
On Housing Choice Voucher certifications, field 12d now equals Y for incoming portable absorbed tenants. (IR-127162)
Version 4.34.0 Release Notes
Release Date: 4/12/2025
Version: 4.34.0
FY-2025 Income limits:
The HUD Income Limits with an effective date of 4/1/2025 have been added.
Bug Fixes and Improvements:
Family Self Sufficiency (FSS):
- Line G on the escrow credit worksheet now rounds down when the cents are .49 and below. 50 cents and above will round up. (IR-127011)
- When creating an FSS submission code (eTrans 8) for a participant’s exit, users will no longer receive the following error when the definition of the error is not met: "The current record is an invalid state and cannot be saved. Please correct the following before saving: If both FSS report category and WtW report category equal X or are blank, Child Receiving Child Care must equal zero." (IR-126984)
Occupancy and Rent Calculation (ORC):
- Field 12d on certifications for active incoming portable tenants will calculate 'Y'. (IR-127009)
